I got to celebrate my birthday in Huaraz, Peru where we luckily had already made some bartender friends. Sophie and I went to a bar we had been before only to find out that it was the bar owner's birthday, too! The bar was all decorated and he gave us free drinks all night. Wonderful!

Us with "hielo de Charlie" - Charlie's ice. Charlie, the mountain lodge owner we had stayed with before, also frequents this bar and as you aren't supposed to drink the water in Peru nor have ice in your drinks, he has his own special plastic ice cubes that we requested this night.

You are quite unlucky that you didn't get to witness these dance moves in person.
