Just to break up my journey to Peru, I decided to stop in Iquique, a beach town even further north in Chile. I ended up having such a great time that I stayed for three nights. I ran into a girl that I had met in San Pedro, and met lots of other cool people. Turned out to be a very enjoyable, relaxing time.

Alice and I with the surf boards. This is not just a posed photo. We really DID take surfing lessons! It was.... interesting. Happy I can now say I have tried to surf, but I'm not sure if I will be trying it again. :)
